- Summary
La Escondida is a top class hand-picked hotel in the mountains between Alicante and Valencia, the climbs around here have been featured several times in pro cycling like Vuelta a España and is the field for some pro teams during winter season.
Should you select guided bike tours, our bike guide will be waiting for you at the hotel on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 10 am. The distance and difficulty of the routes can be agreed with the guide on a daily basis, so do not hesitate to ask to step up the amount of climbs per day or a stop in a cozy cafe!
But if you feel like exploring the area by yourself, here you can see some of the routes you could take from the hotel, you can find more in our Komoot Site.

- Itinerary
Itineraries proposed here are indicative, if you have selected guided rides, you can agree with your guides the type of ride, length, stops and all you feel necessary. Else, please visit our Komoot Site to select and download alternative routes.
Day 1
As easy as it can get from here, just over 50 km to warm up the first day with a little bit more than 800 m climb.
Day 2
Tough day with two big climbs in the way: coll de rates and confrides, long and windy uphill that will make you enjoy the area. a total of 115km and more than 2200 m climb.
Day 3
Warm up climbing the mitic port de tudos to link to Relleu-La torre with a climb over 20 km long to finally roll down to the hotel, 83 km with 1800 m climb.
